We congratulate our technical consultant, Professor Mitch M.C. Chou, was recently given the great honor national awards, 2014 Outstanding Technical Contribution Award, from Executive Yuan (R.O.C.) Taiwan. Professor Mitch's research and contributions to the area of high performance scintillator can enhance Taiwan’s medical industries competition on international stage.

It's our honor to meet LSO inventor, Dr. Charles L. Melcher,at out booth in 2013 IEEE.

As Senior Scientist at Schlumberger, Dr. Charles L. Melcher invented the LSO:Ce scintillator and developed the growth process for single crystals of this material.In 1996 he joined CTI Molecular Imaging where he led the further development of LSO:Ce from the research stage to large-scale commercial manufacturing for use in positron emission tomography (PET).
